Thumb Tech: The Evolution of Technology vs. Mother Nature

Some years from now in the State of Corporation, people have evolved with a physical characteristic that separated the civilization from all that came before. Male or female, whatever size or shape, they all possess long pointed thumbs because their ancestors preferred using the digit to perform everyday computing tasks. All tech is based on that physical attribute and Corporation’s profit and control is assured, until a boy is born with “normal” hands and threatens the status quo.
